Job Description
Our client is an IT Company. We are seeking an accomplished IT Manager to oversee our IT systems and services, ensuring secure and seamless operations (70%) while also supporting pre-sales activities in the AMS - Application Management Services department (30%). This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong leadership to drive innovation and align IT initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities – IT Manager (70%):
- Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and maintain robust IT infrastructures—including servers, networks, and storage systems—to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability.
Oversee disaster recovery and backup processes to guarantee business continuity.
- Application Management:
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of critical business applications. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements, manage updates, and streamline lifecycle processes.
- IT Operations:
Ensure smooth daily IT operations, from helpdesk support to service delivery. Monitor system performance against SLAs, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- IT Security:
Formulate and implement a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard systems and data. Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests, ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
- Leadership & Strategy:
Mentor and inspire a dynamic IT team while managing budgets and driving cost-effective solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, develop training programs, and provide strategic reports to senior management.
Key Responsibilities – Pre-Sale (30%):
- Develop and deliver high-quality proposals.
- Engage with the sales team and clients fluently in English.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AMS (Application Management Services) activities align with business goals.
Job Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in IT management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record managing complex IT environments, including infrastructure, applications, operations, and security.
Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience as a System Administrator (Linux/Windows).
- Proficient in network administration (LAN/WAN, load balancing, firewall management).
- Familiarity with Office365 Global Administration.
- Skilled in virtualization platforms (e.g., Xen, KVM, VMware) and web services (nginx, Apache, proxy servers).
- Competent in scripting with Bash and PowerShell, with hands-on Docker experience.
Standards & Certifications:
- Experience with IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, or similar).
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001 standards; experience with ISO9000/SOC 2 is a plus.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification is required; certifications like CCNA and MCSA are desirable.
Communication & Leadership:
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Vietnamese to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, team management, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Additional Skills:
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and application lifecycle management.
- Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
