Job Description
The Project Development Manager will provide comprehensive support in executing projects related to environment, energy, recycling, and M&A in Vietnam. Responsibilities include research, planning, progress monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring compliance with technical, financial, and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research & Project Planning
• Collaborate with relevant departments to conduct feasibility studies on technology, site selection, and operational models.
• Develop preliminary financial plans, assess total investment, and formulate capital recovery strategies.
• Assist in project documentation preparation.
2. Legal & Licensing Management
• Work with government agencies to obtain necessary permits (investment, environmental, construction, and operational licenses).
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal regulations.
3. Partner Engagement & Collaboration
• Identify and assess potential technology providers, construction contractors, and strategic partners.
• Support contract negotiations with stakeholders.
4. Project Progress Monitoring & Reporting
• Oversee project timelines, provide status updates, and propose solutions to arising issues.
• Coordinate between technical, financial, and legal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Investment & Fundraising Support (if applicable)
• Prepare investment pitch materials and financial reports for potential investors.
• Explore collaboration opportunities with financial institutions and investment funds in energy, environment, and M&A sectors.
Job Requirements
1. Education
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Project Management, Economics, or related fields.
2. Experience
• Preferably experienced in project management in construction, energy, waste treatment, environment, or recycling sectors.
• Experience in working with government agencies for investment, environmental, and construction permits.
• Prior involvement in investment fundraising or working with financial investors is a plus.
3. Language Skills
• Proficiency in English is an advantage.
4. Key Skills
• Project Management: Hands-on experience in construction projects, especially in energy, environment, and recycling sectors.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of environmental, construction, investment, and waste management regulations in Vietnam.
• Research & Analytical Skills: Financial analysis, risk assessment, and proposing optimal solutions.
• Communication & Negotiation: Ability to work with suppliers, investors, and government agencies.
• Organization & Time Management: Ability to track progress and coordinate multiple teams to ensure timely project completion.
