Job Description
Navigos Search's client is seeking a dynamic Program Manager to oversee post-launch product support and continuous improvement activities for hardware systems. This role combines technical project leadership with cost-benefit analysis, quality initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will engage closely with global production sites, repair operations, and internal stakeholders. Flexibility in work hours and the ability to manage shifting priorities are essential.
Role Summary
This position plays a critical role in managing the ongoing development and optimization of hardware products beyond their initial release. The Program Manager will coordinate with supply chain, production engineering, and design teams to sustain and improve product performance, yield, and cost. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead cross-regional teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead lifecycle management of component validations, test procedures, and process improvement efforts from early identification through execution.
- Create issue containment and resolution strategies in response to technical or process disruptions.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and drive operational enhancements.
- Perform return-on-investment (ROI) evaluations to assess project viability and business impact.
- Understand and participate in bill of materials (BOM) review and revision workflows.
- Coordinate progress updates across regional teams and support global reporting needs.
- Facilitate meetings between engineering, repair, and production teams, while maintaining and tracking resulting action plans.
- Contribute to worldwide engineering and quality-related projects.
- Regularly report project status and drive accountability across functional partners.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on knowledge or experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable using enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools and proprietary business software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Outlook.
- Familiar with root cause and fault analysis methodologies (e.g., FI/FA processes).
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate projects across engineering, manufacturing, and quality domains.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical content.
- Able to thrive in uncertain, dynamic settings while maintaining focus and execution.
