Job Description
Transfer Pricing Function Responsibilities:
Lead and support the Hanoi-based Transfer Pricing team in executing ongoing TP assignments, as delegated by Partners and Directors;
Design and implement a structured training roadmap tailored for the development of the TP team in Hanoi;
Deliver regular knowledge-sharing sessions and technical updates covering international TP frameworks and local compliance requirements;
Drive team capability enhancement by developing professional competencies, strengthening technical expertise, and standardizing procedures for TP projects.
Business Development Activities in Transfer Pricing:
Possess a solid grasp of the firm's service offerings, particularly in Transfer Pricing, and proactively identify cross-selling opportunities;
Build insight into client needs and business potential to explore service expansion avenues;
Actively engage in business development initiatives, including preparing proposals and contributing to firm-wide pitching efforts;
Establish and maintain strong client relationships by gaining a deep understanding of their business operations and expectations;
Ensure responsiveness to client requirements, maintain transparent communication on project progress, and foster long-term trust and credibility.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Core Competencies:
A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or Corporate Finance;
Solid understanding of Vietnam’s transfer pricing framework, including APA procedures, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, and BEPS Action Plans;
At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Transfer Pricing or related tax advisory work;
Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills;
Competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Demonstrated ability in project coordination, effective collaboration in team settings, and strong interpersonal communication;
Professional certifications such as VTCA, CPA, ACCA, CPAA, ICAEW, or Transfer Pricing-specific credentials are highly regarded.
