Job Description
Responsible for inspection management of procured equipment which includes quality technical clarification with Vendors prior to purchase order, lead Pre-Inspection Meetings at Vendor shop, review of vendor ITPs and inspection procedures and inspector management
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for quality management of procured equipment for EPC project starting from pre-purchase order technical clarification, Pre-Inspection Meetings, and shop inspection managements.
2. Quality management to meet project technical specifications of procured equipment including the following roles and responsibilities:
- Project Inspection Manager or Engineer
- Review and manage quality or inspection requirement/risk about project requirement (ITB, Code, Standards, etc.)
- Planning for Project Inspection and Test Plan / Procedure
- Review the vendor prints and documents for inspection activities
- Meeting to meet the project quality requirements with VENDOR / CLIENT
- Inspection management - interview/assign Inspector, prepare the inspection instruction, review/confirm inspection result
- Solve quality issue/problem (at VENDOR/SITE)
- Business trip to global vendor
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Education
• Bachelor`s degree in Engineering related to the applied discipline
Experience
• Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 4 years of experience as quality engineer or inspector in the applied discipline
• Project based procurement experience ideally gained with the Oil and Gas industry or Petrochemical industry is preferred.
• Experienced in manufacturing/ expediting/ inspection of the applied discipline is required
1) Stationary : Pressure vessels or heat exchangers
2) Piping : Pipes, fittings, flanges or valves
3) Rotating : Pumps, Compressors, Skid/Modules
4) Electrical & Instrument : Motor, TR/SWGR, pressure/level/temperature gauges, control valves
• Experience of working with third party inspectors, EPC and End-Users are preferred
• Proficient use of Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Experience of working closely with suppliers
Knowledge
• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality management process for applied disciplines equipment

• Knowledge of major End-User technical specifications including ARAMCO, SABIC, ADNOC, SHELL, PTT, etc.
