Job Description
An international technology firm with extensive experience in financial technology and software development is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manual Tester (Japanese N2) to join its dynamic team. With operations spanning multiple countries across Asia and beyond, this organization delivers advanced solutions for web, mobile, payment, and blockchain platforms, combining cutting-edge innovation with global reach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test documentation for various software projects.
- Collaborate with project leaders and team members to analyze technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Evaluate software performance and identify issues, providing recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
- Define appropriate testing methodologies, establish exit criteria, and allocate necessary resources to ensure thorough and effective testing.
- Estimate testing efforts and contribute to overall project planning and scheduling.
- Track, document, and report software defects using defect management tools.
- Conduct testing activities on APIs, web-based systems, mobile applications, and backend components.
- Perform database verifications using SQL to validate data integrity.
- Analyze change requests and update relevant testing documentation accordingly.
- Cooperate with cross-functional teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle to ensure product quality standards are met.
- Report test execution status and results to the Quality Control Manager on a regular basis.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Graduated from a leading university specializing in Computer Science, Information Technology, or graduated from a specialized high school for gifted students in disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, or Chemistry.
- Recognition in national or international academic competitions is considered an advantage.
- Fluent communication skills in Japanese and Vietnamese. Intermediate English communication
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, including manual and/or automated testing.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficient in SQL and experience with database validation.
- Hands-on experience testing APIs, web services, and mobile platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to design, create, and maintain test plans and reports.
- Ability to independently manage tasks as well as work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
