Job Description

The Sales Manager for Pharmaceutical Equipment is responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling specialized pharmaceutical equipment. This role involves technical sales expertise, relationship-building with customers, and comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment to address clients' needs effectively.
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:- Serve as the technical expert and company representative for pharmaceutical equipment in Vietnam.- Develop and implement sales strategies for country and other specialized products, ensuring alignment with company objectives.- Identify and qualify potential customers, understand their specific requirements, and offer tailored solutions that optimize their operations.- Maintain a strong knowledge base on product features, benefits, and applications.- Achieve sales targets and KPIs through proactive business development and solution-based selling.2. Technical Consultation and Support:- Act as the primary technical consultant for clients, providing expert guidance on equipment specifications and functionalities.- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits to support customer decision-making.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their processes and recommend equipment solutions that improve productivity and meet compliance standards.- Provide information on installation, operation, and maintenance for equipment and other partnered.3. Sales Process and Order Management:- Coordinate with operations team to ensure accurate and timely delivery.- Issue quotations, ensure order processing, and maintain clear communication with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to facilitate smooth order fulfilment.- Resolve any customer inquiries or concerns related to equipment delivery, performance, or technical support.4. Customer Relationship Management:- Use CRM tools to log all sales activities, customer interactions, and order statuses.- Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact for inquiries and escalations.- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up and timely issue resolution.5. Sales Reporting and Analysis:- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, orders, and market analysis for management review.- Analyse sales data to identify potential market opportunities or areas for improvement.- Offer feedback to product management and engineering teams based on customer needs and industry trends.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Proven experience in technical sales, particularly within the pharmaceutical machinery sectors.- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.- Proactive, target-driven mindset with strong organizational abilities.- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.
- Fluent in English.
