Job Description
Quality Manager oversee and lead the QA/QC department at the factory in Vietnam
Implements Quality policies and programs in the region, ensuring compliance of plant operations with the company’s Quality Management System
Provides technical assistance during the production cycle
Validates quality requirements and technical specifications of customers and performs follow-up on external audits
Oversees communication and implementation of Quality Management System including certification, metrology and quality audits
Oversees verification and control of quality levels of manufactured products
Responsible for customer satisfaction on the quality of products and services
Serves as the management representative for all quality related projects and processes, reporting to top management on the performance of the Quality Management System and any need for improvement
Assess, qualify and monitor suppliers/ vendors’ quality management system, as well as work on readiness assessment per new / potential regulatory, legislative or sustainability requirement(s) / initiative(s)
Assist or lead supplier, subcontractor or vendor on problem solving and root cause investigation for preventive action
Track and review the results of quality KPIs with suppliers, subcontractors and vendors to determine the prompt actions
Job Requirements
At least 5 years as a quality manager in a metal manufacturing facility
Experience in a multinational company is a plus
At least 3 years experience as quality inspector
Knowledge of non-destructive testing is a plus
Must know how to read engineering drawings
Self-starter – capable of starting from scratch and implement a quality management system for a metal manufacturer
Excellent organizational skills
Good analytical, statistics, and problem solving skills
