Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement an integrated Marketing, Communications, and Branding strategy that aligns with company's overarching mission and strategic goals.
• Ensure that the brand is highly visible, compelling, and respected globally among key audiences: prospective students, faculty, alumni, media, academic partners, and corporate recruiters.
• Collaborate closely with academic colleges and leadership to design and execute marketing campaigns that support student recruitment, faculty hiring, program visibility, and institutional reputation.
• Lead strategic media relations and thought leadership initiatives, promoting faculty research, academic programs, student success stories, and institutional milestones to global audiences.
• Manage digital presence, including content strategy, social media, SEO/SEM, and website optimization, to engage and grow target audiences across geographies.
• Develop and monitor key marketing performance metrics; continuously evaluate effectiveness and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Oversee creative resources, including the development of digital assets, branding toolkits, and multimedia content (videos, photography, graphic design).
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to provide insights that inform brand strategy, program development, and student recruitment efforts.
• Maintain effective internal communications across departments to ensure alignment on messaging, branding, and marketing initiatives.
• Identify and manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and media agencies.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
• Education or professional experience in an English-speaking or international setting is highly valued.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in senior-level marketing or communications roles, preferably in higher education, international organizations, or multinational corporations.
• Demonstrated track record in global brand strategy, academic marketing, and digital communications.
• Experience successfully pitching stories to international and local media is an advantage.
• Proficiency in content marketing, digital campaigns, social media management, and analytics.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Strong understanding of the mission and role of private, research-oriented universities.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills in English (Vietnamese is a plus).
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate with stakeholders across functions, including academic, administrative, and external partners.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities; able to balance long-term vision with short-term priorities.
• Comfortable navigating the challenges of a startup environment; adaptable, resilient, and resourceful.
• Passionate about higher education, innovation, and making a lasting impact in Vietnam and globally.
• Strong time management, ability to multitask, and commitment to meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Possess or able to build strong professional networks, both locally and internationally.
