Job Description
Develop accurate patterns based on design sketches, draping techniques & modify/ refine patterns to achieve the desired fit and silhouette
Prepare detailed pattern specifications and construction notes to be added onto the Design techpacks
Collaborate with the design team & Sample room in providing technical expertise to optimize design and production feasibility whilst ensuring the aesthetics and the design concept is maintained
Troubleshoot design challenges related to garment construction and offer creative solutions
Keep up with the latest industry trends and technological advancements
Support design team with suggestions and coordinates the hand over of styles to merchandising with all accurate details required by the merch team for costing
Job Requirements
Degree in garment technology or similar
5 years of experience in a similar capacity
Excellent knowledge of CAD software (3D Clo, Browzwear etc)
Excellent understanding of garment construction, textiles, and sewing techniques
Ability to translate creative designs into functional patterns
Experience with both manual and digital pattern development
