Job Description

We are seeking a Mobile Technical Lead who remains actively involved in hands-on development to drive the creation and execution of a cutting-edge mobile banking solution in Asia. This role involves developing both local and cross-border banking solutions, enhancing customer experience, launching new products and services, optimizing processes, and ensuring risk management and technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technical leaders to define a strategic vision for mobile engineering initiatives.
- Design and develop high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to mobile developers, fostering professional growth.
- Troubleshoot issues, address bugs, and continuously improve app performance.
- Research, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies to enhance development efficiency.
- Participate in software development planning, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery.
- Architect and design scalable solutions for new products and features.
- Lead and support the mobile development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality code and innovative solutions.

Job Requirements

Technical Proficiency:
- more than six years of mobile development experience.
- more than two years of experience leading a mobile development team.
- demonstrated proficiency in Android (Kotlin) or iOS (SwiftUI and UIKit) development. Although it is not required, having experience with both platforms will be advantageous.
- experience developing a variety of mobile applications, ideally large-scale ones with a multi-country focus.
- familiarity with contemporary mobile architecture.
- Possessing knowledge about Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) development is really beneficial.
- Knowledge of backend development tools, such as databases and APIs
- familiarity with continuous deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration.
- Knowledge of code artifact management and modularization

- Outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A strong desire to pick up new skills and technology.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities, such as the ability to facilitate and negotiate.
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the Agile process.
- Experience working in a variety of technical fields, with the capacity to "dive deep" when necessary and guarantee that the right solutions are applied.
- The capacity to translate technical terms into business terms.
- Capacity to make compelling presentations that inspire agreement and buy-in while offering important insights.
- Proficiency in overseeing and directing a development team.
