Job Description

A/ JOB DESCRIPTION
1 Manage and operate Design Department
1.1 Propose departmental structure, human resource plan, recruitment, trainings for new staff and current staff, rewards, discipline, team culture
1.2 Assign tasks to subordinates, supervise, evaluate, support and manage quality of the workdone
1.3 Organize the development of regulations, processes, standards and policies in the specialized field of the Deparment
1.4 Approve leave, expenditures, administrative transactions; manage assets and achival information of the Department
1.5 Prepare weekly plan for the Department after receiving plan from Sales & Merchandise Department
1.6 Incorporate with UK Design team for planing and action plan with customers requirement, report to Chairman and CEO/ BOD
2 Update fashion trends and design
2.1 Plan, guide, monitor and approve seasons trend boards (Spring-Summer, Autumn-Winter, cross seasons/ Viet Nam brands)
2.2 Find and update materials suppliers in accordance with trends
2.3 Arrange showrooms according to the approved trend board: Organize and supervise the selection of available products or plan to produce samples according to trends
2.4 Organize and supervise the preparation of presentation materials in accordance with the ideas of customers of each sales team or directly participate with Sales Manager in meetings with customers to introduce the design if required
- Organize and supervise the drawing of idea design, adjust drawings according to customer's requirements
- Organize, supervise detailed design, Design Specification Sheet and adjust according to customer's requirements
- Organize and supervise the designing and repairing of sample products
- Organize and supervise the products displayed at HPO
2.5 Review all team' design and evaluate the number of designs selected by the customer
3 Other assignments
3.1 Advise the superiors on issues related to the field of responsibility
3.2 Perform other duties as assigned by the superiors

Job Requirements

• Graduate from college with major in Fashion design or equivalent
• At least 03 years of experience in the field of garment, industrial sewing
• At least 01 year of management experience at similar position
• Knowledge of fashion trends, market and garment production
• Knowledge of the garment manufacturing process
• Negotiation and persuasion skill
• Problem-solving skill
• Organization and planning skill
• Relationship building skill
• Hand sketching skill
• Proficient use of pattern design softwares
• Proficient use of office utility softwares
