As a Sales Representative in an industrial trading company, your role will primarily focus on account management, with approximately 70% of your time dedicated to nurturing existing customer relationships. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, which will constitute approximately 30% of your time. Your objective will be to drive sales growth, maximize customer satisfaction, and expand the company's customer base within the industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management (70%):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives, needs, and challenges.
- Regularly engage with customers to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as a trusted advisor to address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues.
- Conduct periodic business reviews to assess customer satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as customer support and logistics, to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any customer-related issues.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer value.

New Business Development (30%):
- Identify and prospect potential customers within the industrial sector to expand the company's customer base.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Utilize various sources, including online platforms, industry directories, referrals, and trade shows, to generate leads.
- Initiate contact with prospective customers through cold calling, email outreach, and networking events.
- Conduct sales presentations to introduce the company's products/services, highlight value propositions, and address customer pain points.
- Develop and present customized proposals and quotations to win new business.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to secure new contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as product management and operations, to ensure successful onboarding of new customers.

Sales Reporting and Target Achievement:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including account performance, new business development progress, and sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with the sales team and sales management to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, identify trends, and recommend actions to optimize sales performance.
- Proactively communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to the sales management team.
