WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Sourcing Leader will oversee the purchasing and procurement processes within our client’s company. This role is critical in ensuring that production and operational of electrical component needs are met with the highest standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with the company's production and operational requirements, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and timely deliveries.
• Lead the identification, evaluation, and management of suppliers for goods and services. Ensure that suppliers meet the company’s competitive standards and are capable of adapting to changing production plans and purchase needs.
• Establish and maintain standardized procedures, tools, and processes within the sourcing team to enhance efficiency and meet the evolving demands of the purchasing function.
• Foster and manage relationships with relevant authorities concerning procurement and importation, ensuring compliance with procedural, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Actively participate in cross-functional project teams, contributing sourcing expertise and ensuring alignment with overall company objectives during new project launches.
• Mentor and develop the sourcing team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by senior management to support the overall goals of the organization.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a sourcing or purchasing leadership role, preferably in the electrical component manufacturing sector.
• Experience in buying is considered an advantage.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software, MS Office software, ERP system and data analytics tools.
• Proficient English skills.
