Job Description
• Ensuring compliance with all environment-related laws, regulations, policies, and legislation.
• Managing and controlling the environment-related database to ensure timely submission of required reports.
• Maintaining strong relationships with authorities at various levels (local, provincial, and central government).
• Effectively handling and resolving environmental incidents within the large sites.
• Reviewing and assessing potential environmental profiles to ensure compliance with relevant licenses and permits.
• Taking Responsibility for approval of EIARs and ELs for the company.
• Submitting the annual budget on time and ensuring its effective execution.
• Organizing environmental events to raise awareness of employees about environmental protection.
• Conducting training courses and workshops to update employees on new environment-related laws and regulations.
Providing advice to line managers and/or executive leadership on:
• The potential impact of new environment-related laws and regulations on business operations.
• Control environmental risks and their impact on the company.
Job Requirements
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in environmental management or a related role.
• Comprehensive understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong leadership skill.
