Job Description
1. Ensure product quality can fulfill both customer requirements and legal safety standards.
2. All new projects shall have no safety issues and be on time.
3. Approved vendors shall meet social and security compliance.
4. All products shipped out should not have any recall or withdrawal.
5. Enforce the quality mindset and internal quality requirements to all approved vendors.
6. Create quality documents, such as SOP, product test plan, conformity test plan; inspection specification, etc.
7. Get early design involvement for risk assessment of essential safety.
Job Requirements
1. Education Requirements: Bachelors or Master degree, Technical background is preferable
2. At least 10 years of experience in Quality and Compliance management, and 3 years in director/C-level.
3. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
4. Strong knowledge in safety regulations and standards or technical knowhow of process controls in Toys manufacturing.
5. Strong analytical skill based on factual data.
6. Good decision making, people management and leadership skill.
7. Familiar with sampling plan and product development cycle.
8. Good understanding about social and security requirement for similar compliances.
9. Have working experience in overseas buying office.
10. Familiar with major retailer's programs, such as Wal-mart; Costco; Target; etc and licensor agreement, such as FAMA from Disney.
11. Familiar with quality tools, such as cause and effect diagram; Design and Process FMEA; CpK; etc.
12. Good lab management skill, such as uncertainty; correlation test; GR&R; etc.
13. Strong relationship with recognized outside lab.
14. Certifications or Licenses: ISO 9001 auditor; Six sigma green or black belt.
