• Manage production shifts, ensuring safety, quality, timely delivery, and labor efficiency.
• Optimize processes and plan training to enhance team skills.
• Ensure production shift targets are met.
• Implement flexible operations programs and controls to adapt to changing requirements.
• Identify operational constraints.
• Reduce production costs.
• Lead teams in implementing preventative improvements.
• Coach and guide team members.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field, with a solid manufacturing knowledge base and hands-on skills. Familiarity with mechanical dynamics or electronics is a plus.
• At least 8 years of manufacturing experience with a proven track record of successful implementation activities.
• Experience in industrial assembly is preferred.
• Experience in setting up new factories is a plus.
• Self-aware of strengths and weaknesses, eager to learn and develop, and able to work under pressure, self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team development capabilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to participate in conference calls and reports for global regions.
• Proficient in computer applications and Office software; familiarity with Oracle ERP is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong people management and negotiation skills.
• Sensitive to the needs of the manufacturing industry.
• Positive attitude and able to commute daily for flexible working hours.
• Willing to work extra hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
