Job Description
- Utilize E3D software for 3D plant design, creating detailed and precise layouts of equipment, structures, piping, and cable trays, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Design and optimize plant layouts to improve operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all designs and layouts adhere to relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, structural, and electrical engineers to integrate various disciplines into the overall plant design.
- Develop arrangement drawings and layouts from 3D models, offering visual representations for review and analysis.
- Support project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling for plant design activities.
- Provide technical support during installation, working with on-site teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Conduct reviews and quality assurance checks to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of designs.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related engineering field, particularly in heavy industrial plant projects like Petrochemical or Thermal Power.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience as an Engineer, focusing on E3D/PDMS software.
- Proficient in E3D software for piping design and plant layout.
- Thorough understanding of industry codes and standards such as ISO, EN, DIN, ASME, API, etc.
- Possesses excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Competencies & Skills:
- Familiarity with processes in cement/chemical plants and mining operations, as well as workshop fabrication.
- Experience in Piping Design, HVAC design, and Gas Duct Detailing Engineering, along with Plant Layout in E3D.
- Capable of writing and comprehending work-related documents in English, including reports and engineering proposals.
- Proficient in leading technical discussions in English.
- Knowledgeable about engineering and IT applications like E3D, AutoPIPE, AutoCAD, Inventor, and MS Office.
