Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Environmental Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international environmental regulations and standards for both CKD (Completely Knocked Down) and imported vehicles.
• Develop and implement environmental management systems, including waste management, emissions control, and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Liaise with government agencies for environmental permits, reporting, and inspections.
Safety Compliance:
• Oversee occupational health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment across all operations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including those specific to automotive manufacturing and import operations.
Regulatory Management:
• Stay updated on changes in environmental and safety regulations relevant to the automotive industry.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance requirements for CKD production and imported vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality, to align operations with compliance standards.
Training & Awareness:
• Develop and deliver training programs on environmental and safety compliance for employees at all levels.
• Promote a culture of sustainability and safety within the organization.
Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, inspections, and incidents.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to regulatory authorities and senior management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in environmental and safety compliance, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of local and international environmental and safety regulations, especially for CKD and imported vehicles.
• Certifications in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) or environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive compliance initiatives.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
