Job Description
- Familiarity with project specifications and design philosophy is required to guarantee that design outputs (datasheets and drawings, UFDs,PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, operation manuals, etc.) meet the client's requirements.
- Review and comment on process designs for reactors, columns, drums, heat exchangers, and tanks, as well as generate process datasheets.
- Review and provide feedback on hydraulic designs for pumps, compressors, and blowers, as well as generate process datasheets. - To conduct P&ID design evaluations, HAZOP, IPF, SIL investigations, and 3D model reviews.
- Create basic, FEED, and detailed engineering designs in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Calculate the sizing for process equipment.
- Be familiar with related vendors and their products, and conduct technical evaluations on vendor proposals.
- To support the Construction Team during the construction phase and perform site checks.
- To perform other functions that may be assigned by Department Manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in EPC companies dealing with oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, and heavy industrial plants (mining, thermal power plant, etc.). Familiarity with the water system is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in simulation software, including PRO/II, UniSIM, FlareSim, HYSYS, Aspen, and HTRI.
- Proficient in engineering drawing software, including Visio, AUTOCAD, 3D Model, Smart Plant, Pipe Flow Expert, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with ASTM, API, and ASME codes and standards.
