Job Description
- Managing the bonding department to ensure smooth development and production processes while achieving targets in efficiency, line balancing, layouts, daily output, quality standards, and wash test requirements.
- Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for bonding processes in both development and manufacturing stages.
- Participating in development and production meetings to provide technical guidance on garment construction and bonding techniques.
- Evaluating product construction and selecting suitable adhesives during the development stage to optimize quality and production efficiency.
- Calculating manpower and machine requirements for bulk production using SMV analysis.
- Coordinating with suppliers to maintain bonding machines and schedule necessary servicing.
- Conducting necessary tests and validating bulk production processes to ensure quality and minimize potential risks.
- Managing laser cutting development and production processes according to technical requirements.
- Driving cost-saving initiatives through trials and working with relevant teams to implement effective improvements.
- Sourcing and validating new adhesives in the region to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
- Collaborating with embellishment suppliers to ensure strike-off approvals and support bulk production quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Educational background in Garment or Textile with at least 3 years of experience in Bonding operations in a similar role within garment manufacturing companies.
- Good command of English in all four skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage departmental data and support management in data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to coordinate daily departmental operations with the team based on production demand and PCD.
