Job Description
▪ Develop new business and logistics sales (warehousing, local transportation, complex domestic logistics, 3PL/4PL) in Vietnam
▪ To deliver presentations towards customers in Vietnam, and initiate business trips for such sales activities
▪ Promote existing customers’ retention, cross selling and upselling
▪ To build and lead a strong contract logistics sales team, achieve both short-term/ long-term target (monthly/semi-annual revenue & profit performance review)
▪ To establish national supply chain strategy, to ensure that team grow quickly to become an absolute top tier logistics company in Vietnam
▪ To closely monitor trends on rates of domestic logistics market (warehousing, trucking) and work with procurement experts to secure competitive price and stable space
▪ To achieve sales target, present the performance in reports and internal regular meetings (weekly/monthly/semi-annually)
▪ To manage/monitor sound Business Opportunity (Inventory) level of Team
▪ To set up Go-To-Market strategy by region and make sure the sales activities go in line with the strategy
▪ Other responsibilities given by Director
Job Requirements
Requirements:
1. Education / Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree above
• Major in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
• English Advance Level, other language skill is a plus
2. Experience (Mandatory)
• Minimum 8 years of related working experience in Global Logistics Company (Minimum 6 years' experience is required for Master degree holder)
• New Business Development experience
3. Skills
• Logistics Business development & Sales
• Deep knowledge and direct experience in closing sales & leading large-scale local transportation and warehousing projects
• Knowledge in logistics IT operation system (ERP, WMS, TMS, etc.)
• Knowledge about overall logistics business including Air, Ocean
• Leadership for sales / operation
• Strong Local transport / warehousing-industry network in Vietnam
• Able to work under pressure where needed
• Ability to lead negotiations, communicate, understand situations and respond in dedicated manner in all kinds of conditions
• MS Office Advance Level
• High-performing Team Building
