Job Description
Objective: Responsible for developing business activities in the Vietnamese market, including sales, customer relationship management, market expansion, and supporting the regional sales team.
Sales & Customer Relationship Management in Vietnam:
- Identify, approach, and build relationships with potential customers.
- Introduce and consult on products/services that align with customer needs.
- Negotiate and close contracts while ensuring sales targets are achieved.
- Maintain, nurture, and expand relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
Market Research & Development
- Collect and analyze information on the Vietnamese market, competitors, technology trends, and customer demands.
- Propose market entry strategies and business solutions tailored to different customer segments.
Regional Business Expansion Support
- Collaborate with the sales team in Japan to implement expansion plans into Southeast Asian markets.
- Provide market insights and support engagement with potential customers or partners in the region.
Contributing to International Business Strategy
- Provide market insights, data, and propose suitable business models for different regions.
- Work closely with leadership and the global sales team to develop long-term growth strategies beyond the Japanese market.
Building the Future Sales & Customer Success Foundation in Vietnam
- Establish the foundation and processes for the future Sales & Customer Success team in Vietnam.
(This is the first Sales position in Vietnam, playing a key role in shaping the market strategy and offering the opportunity to grow into a Sales Manager role during the expansion phase.)
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in Information Technology, software, or enterprise solutions.
- Experience working with enterprise clients (B2B) is required.
Skills:
- Business-level English (both spoken and written) to communicate effectively with international clients and colleagues.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Good market analysis and business insight capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with international teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience in security monitoring or surveillance solutions is a strong advantage.
- Experience working in a multinational environment or Japanese companies is a plus.
- Japanese language proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Strong self-motivation and growth mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural international startup environment.
