Job Description
• Develop and maintain Standard Minute Values (SMV) across all garment styles and operations
• Perform method studies, time studies, and work measurement to enhance operational efficiency
• Optimize line balancing, production capacity, and workforce allocation
• Define and track labor productivity metrics (SAH, efficiency, UPH)
• Support new style launches, pilot production, and scale-up activities
• Identify production bottlenecks and drive corrective actions through Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
• Lead Lean Manufacturing practices including 5S, Kaizen, VSM, and Standard Work implementation
• Drive waste elimination across operations (e.g., motion, waiting time, overproduction, rework, excess inventory)
• Execute CI projects with clear impact on cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Foster a continuous improvement mindset through training, coaching, and employee engagement
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving using PDCA and root cause analysis tools
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (Efficiency, SMV, Cost per Piece, Lead Time, DHU)
• Prepare regular IE/CI performance reports (weekly/monthly) for management review
• Leverage production data to support data-driven decision making
• Support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., MES systems, IE tools, dashboards)
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Apparel/Textile Engineering, or a related discipline
• 8–12 years of experience in garment manufacturing and Industrial Engineering, including 2–5 years in a leadership role
• Solid understanding of sewing operations, garment construction, and end-to-end production processes
• Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Strong expertise in time and motion study, as well as line balancing techniques
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively
• Data-oriented mindset with strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
• Hands-on approach with a strong focus on results and driving change
• Effective communication skills with the ability to train and develop teams
