Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Governance
• Lead and manage all accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, and applicable financial reporting frameworks.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and financial governance systems suitable for a large-scale infrastructure project.
Financial Reporting
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for management and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with the CFO on financial transparency, reporting structure, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and relevant government authorities.
Project & Infrastructure Accounting
• Oversee accounting for large capital investment projects including construction cost management, asset capitalization, and project financial tracking.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for infrastructure development expenditures and long-term assets.
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop the accounting team (currently 4–5 members), with plans to scale as the airport moves toward operational stage.
• Establish strong accounting processes and systems to support organizational growth.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with finance, project management, procurement, and legal teams to ensure proper financial control and reporting.
• Support the CFO in financial decision-making and strategic planning related to project development.
Job Requirements
Experience
• 15 years of accounting experience with significant senior leadership exposure.
• Experience as Chief Accountant / Head of Accounting / Finance Controller in large organizations.
• Strong background in large-scale infrastructure, construction, or multi-industry corporations.
• Experience in aviation, airport, or transportation infrastructure is highly preferred.
• Proven experience working in complex project environments with significant capital investment.
Skills
• Deep expertise in financial reporting, accounting governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of VAS and tax regulations in Vietnam.
• Experience managing accounting teams and establishing scalable accounting processes.
• Ability to work closely with executive leadership and international stakeholders.
