A leading technology consulting organization is seeking a senior business leader to drive growth and transformation initiatives within the financial services sector.
This role combines commercial leadership, large-scale program delivery, and strategic advisory, working closely with executive stakeholders across banking, insurance, capital markets, and fintech organizations.
You will play a key role in expanding market presence, shaping digital transformation strategies, and building a high-performing consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Growth & Client Leadership
- Lead revenue expansion across key financial services accounts
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders (C-suite level)
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles, including opportunity development, solution positioning, and contract closure
- Develop strategic account roadmaps to strengthen long-term partnerships
- Take ownership of financial performance, including revenue targets and portfolio health
Technology & Transformation Strategy
- Advise clients on enterprise-wide digital and IT transformation initiatives
- Define target architectures, modernization strategies, and technology roadmaps
- Provide guidance on cloud adoption, legacy system transformation, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions
- Develop tailored solutions aligned with industry-specific challenges in financial services
Program Leadership & Delivery Oversight
- Oversee large, complex transformation programs with significant budgets
- Ensure delivery excellence, including quality control, risk mitigation, and financial outcomes
- Implement governance structures and operating models for transformation initiatives
- Coordinate delivery across distributed and offshore teams to ensure consistency and efficiency
Practice Development & Talent Strategy
- Build and expand consulting capabilities within the financial services domain
- Develop reusable assets, frameworks, and industry-focused solutions
- Mentor senior team members and cultivate future leaders
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain high-caliber consulting professionals
Executive Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior executives and key decision-makers
- Facilitate high-level workshops and guide strategic discussions
- Align technology initiatives with business priorities and regulatory requirements
- Represent the organization in industry engagements and client-facing events
Job Requirements
Required:
- Extensive experience (typically 15 years) in consulting, digital transformation, or technology leadership within financial services
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation programs
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to drive business growth
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at executive level
- Deep understanding of financial services technology landscape and regulatory considerations
Preferred:
- Background in top-tier consulting firms or global professional services organizations
- Expertise in areas such as cloud transformation, core system modernization, data platforms, or AI applications
- Experience working in international environments or leading cross-border projects
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
- Experience managing global or offshore delivery teams
